What

| - To respond to the recommendations of the Law Commission’s report on ‘Making land work: easements, covenants and profits á prendre (2011)’ - This kind of work is usually a way of tidying up law that has gotten out of date. A lot of property law is very old.

Why

This is intended to simply the law around land ownership, clarifying the rights and obligations of landowners.

Who

The Ministry of Justice is in charge of it whilst its in draft form.
