A guide to the transition period - and what both the UK and EU want

Once the UK has left the EU on the 29th March 2019, it will enter a transition period of around 2 years. This period will  enable businesses to adjust to new regulations, make way for new immigration and security measures and ensure that there is as little disruption for people on both sides of the Channel as possible.
